Birdwatching

The marshes and farmland located throughout South Delta are a famous destination for bird enthusiasts. The Reifel Bird Sanctuary along with the shore lines of the Pacific Ocean, abundant farm land and marsh areas attract hundreds of species of birds.

Tennis / Fitness

The Delta Town & Country Inn has many amenities for the fitness enthusiast. Guests and members can take advantage of our indoor and outdoor tennis courts, in ground pool, basketball, volleyball & badminton nets, and our fitness centre.

Millenium Trail

Take a walk on the new Millennium Trail, enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the Fraser River, Deas Island Park, and Captain's Cove Marina while you walk, run, or jog this locals favourite.

Shopping

Shopping is abundant in the areas surrounding the hotel. For quaint local shops and artisans visit Ladner or Tsawwassen just a short drive down the road. Or to do some serious shopping head to Richmond Centre just a 10 minute drive away in the city of Richmond.

The River Rock Casino located in Richmond, B.C. is only 15 minutes from the Delta Town & Country Inn. Two floors of gaming tables, slot machines, and video poker would not be complete without live entertainment, food and beverages, and a bar. Wineries

There are two local wineries in the area, the Wellbrook Winery and the Westham Island Winery. Both with unique products including the ever popular fruit wines. Wine tastings are held throughout the day and don't forget to purchase your very own bottle to take home!

Golf

South Delta is home to some great courses including the Tsawwassen Golf Course, Beach Grove Golf Club, Cove Links, and Delta Golf Course. And surrounded by an abundance of courses in Richmond, White Rock, Surrey, and Vancouver. Whichever course you prefer to play on it is only a short drive from the Delta Town & Country Inn.

Eco Tours

Learn about the cultural and natural heritage of the surrounding area and the gulf islands. leaving from Ladner's harbour. These tours are popular for viewing American Bald Eagles, Harlan's Red Tailed Hawk, Peregrin Falcons and Snow Geese as well as Beavers, Harbour Seals, Muskrats, Otters and Sea Lions.

Water Sports

The Delta Town & Country Inn is located near the Deas Slough which is home to Riders Realm a local wakeboard club. Wakeboarding/ waterskiing events are held in the slough during the summer and attract many locals .If you would like to try wakeboarding, waterskiing, tubing, or just to come out for a boat ride, Riders Realm welcomes all ages and all levels. Guests of the Delta Town & Country Inn will recieve 25% off!

If boating, waterskiing, kayaking, and wakeboarding are not your thing try out a different type of water sports. water sliding!! Visit Splashdown waterslides for a fun day of slipping and sliding.

Community Attractions

Reifel Bird Sanctuary - Ecotourism at it's best!  The Sanctuary is one of the major bird wintering areas in BC.  Situated just ten minutes from our hotel check out our bird watching and hotel stay packages on our specials/packages page.

Burns Bog - Get Back to Nature!  It is the largest undeveloped urban landmass in North America and is home to many beautiful and rare plants and animals. Just ten minutes from our hotel.

F440 Race Track - F440 provides racing entertainment for everyone from spectators to participants. Drivers may choose between the Formula Cars and the Racing Karts. Less than 12 minutes from our hotel. Great fun for individual or corporate group challenges.

Golf - Tsawwassen Golf & Country Club - (public course). Situated Just 10 minutes from our hotel. This challenging par 65, 4279 yard executive golf course also offers excellent practice areas including a 22 stall, covered driving range as well as a putting green, chipping green, and sand trap that can be used by the public at no charge. 

Golf - Cove Links Golf Course - A challenging 9 hole golf course located next to a beautiful marina in Ladner.

Golf - Point Roberts Golf & Country Club - Now open for members and public play.  Semi-private.  Less than 20 minutes from our hotel.
